EMAIL 1/4
DAY 1-Monday

Subject: Farmers: we want to hear from you about integrating crops and livestock

Hi _____,

We need your help! The “Match Made In Heaven: Livestock + Crops” project is asking farmers about integrating crops and livestock, such as grazing crop residue or cover crops. We want to hear from farmers where they’re at, in order to understand what’s working and what isn’t. The results of the survey will guide development of resources and programs to benefit both crop and livestock producers.

“Match Made In Heaven: Livestock + Crops” is a partnership between crop and livestock organizations, universities, public agencies, and groups that work towards healthy soil and water. The survey takes 15 minutes and must be completed in one sitting, responses are voluntary and anonymous. Those who complete the survey will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for $100 gift cards.

If you have questions about the study, please contact MMIH Project Coordinator Amy Fenn at fennsfolly@gmail.com. For technical assistance please contact UW Survey Center Project Director Nadia Assad at assad@wisc.edu.
